About
I design with the systems I build.
Ten years across research, product design and design ops. Today I lead nine product designers at a regulated Brazilian fintech, where I redesigned how the team operates around AI and personally built the platform that made it possible: machine-readable design system contracts, guard-railed prototyping open to people who are not designers, automated design system review on every pull request, and four Figma plugins in production.
I have been building this thesis since before code AI existed. My first production AI work was in 2019, designing conversational chatbots at an AI studio for clients like Serasa, XP Investimentos and Fox. My design-to-requirements tooling was registered at Brazil's IP office in 2024, as co-author. AI did not change my direction. It made it executable.
Along the way: IBM, the Apple Developer Academy (Libre, a book-swapping app featured on the Brazilian App Store, and a WWDC scholarship in 2017), a research lead role where a usability protocol I implemented cut issues by 40%, and a previous life as a criminal lawyer, which is why I argue for users with evidence rather than taste.
I also teach. "UX e tecnologia" is a free 46-chapter course on the technology designers need in the AI era, and hefesto is an open marketplace of six Claude Code plugins I build and operate.
